We made our annual tour of Alabama for Thanksgiving again this year...down I-20 from Atlanta, and continued onto 459 and 59 on our way to Tuscaloosa ('T-town' as I call it). We spent Thanksgiving day in Ralph, AL with Marty's family. It was a wonderful day of good food and visiting with family that we had not seen in a while. Marty's family was even nice enough to let the preggo ladies go first in the food line. :) After watching the ever-so-stressful Iron Bowl on Friday ('War Eagle' anyway), we headed up I-65 and I-85 to Auburn where we visited with my family. Saturday was a fun day of shopping and Sunday brought on another wonderful Thanksgiving meal! I don't know where I put any of the food since this baby and my belly continue to grow larger by the day. We had a wonderful visit with everyone...it is hard to believe that this is probably the last time we will see most of them until after Braxton is born. As of this Friday, we should be expecting him anytime within the next 5 weeks. We missed seeing Marty's sister's family, but are so thankful for our new adopted nephew from Ethiopia - Benjamin Tesfahun Goodgame! We can't wait to meet him!
Below are some pictures from the holiday and our new nephew. We hope all of you had a blessed Thanksgiving!
