This weekend Braxton attended his first birthday party. Our friend Julie and Spencer celebrated their daughter, Aija's, first birthday. It seems like yesterday that Julie was pregnant with her. They grow up way too fast! The party was at Anna and Josh Brown's house. We celebrated by grilling, eating cake and homemade ice cream, and watching the kids play. While videoing Aija in the baby pool, I got stung by a wasp. Needless to say, it hurt and made for a funny video! Gotta love summers in the south! Here are a few pictures from the party:

Braxton has really grown up over the last couple of weeks. He has become a really good eater...hardly ever turns anything down. His highchair is one of his favorite spots! We have enjoyed hearing the new sounds that he is making lately...most are very high-pitched. He has also started sitting up and holding his sippy cup...such a BIG boy!
