Braxton's First Thanksgiving and Iron Bowl

This past weekend we took the tour of Alabama to visit our families for Thanksgiving. First Stop, Ralph, AL to visit with Marty's family. On Thursday, we headed over to Marty's grandparent's for a delicious Thanksgiving feast. Braxton enjoyed trying some turkey and ham for the first time. We couldn't believe how much he ate. It was so much fun visiting with Marty's mom along with all the aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

On Friday, we dressed Braxton in his finest to watch our two teams play in the Iron Bowl. He had to represent both teams, so I bought him a 'Baby Divided' outfit off of Etsy.com (the best website for handmade items!). Of course we had to take pictures of him with both AL and AU hats. He was such a good sport! I was very happy with the outcome of the game and am very excited about my Tigers going to the SEC Championship. It's pretty cool that AL won the national championship last year and we might have the chance to win it this year! That says a lot about our great state!

Saturday, we hit to road again. Next stop, Auburn. My family has always celebrated Thanksgiving the Sunday after, so it works great for us to visit both of our families. We love the fact that we get to enjoy two Thanksgiving dinners as well!

We are so thankful for everything God has blessed us with...a precious baby boy, loving families and great friends. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
