Several of my friends and I agree that a girl should celebrate her birthday for a full week...and sometimes even longer. So, last week was my week to celebrate the BIG 31. It started off with dinner at Taco Mac on Monday night...Dawn, Scott, Casey and Ryan joined Marty, Braxton and I for a delicious meal. On Tuesday (my actual birthday), I was suprised with decorations in my cube at work. Casey was sweet enough to get me a balloon and pretty flowers for my desk as well. That night, Dawn and Scott came by with cake and ice cream. They got my favorite cake, fresh strawberry, from Gabriel's in Marietta - YUMMO!
On Saturday night, our friends, Katie and Shaun, watched Braxton while Marty and I went on a birthday date. We went to a great thai/sushi place in Buckhead for dinner and came back to Maggiano's in Smyrna for dessert. It was nice to get a date night since it doesn't happen very often.
After a great birthday week, it is back to the grind on eating healthier. I am determined to get this "baby 15" off!
