Las Vegas Vacation

During the week of March 14th, Marty and I were able to have mini-vacation in Las Vegas.  I was going out there to work The Home Depot's annual Store Manager's Meeting for the first part of the week, so we decided to take advantage of the end of the week for some vacation.  Marty took Braxton and Gracie to my parent's house on Tuesday and flew out to Vegas that night.  This would be the first time that we had both been away from our sweet boy, so we were a little nervous on how he would do away from us for 4 days.  Ends up he did great.  I called my parents each day and they said he couldn't be more happy.  I guess he needed a break from us as well.  Marty and I had a great time while we were there.  We got some much needed rest and relaxation.  This might sound strange since we were in the "city that never sleeps," but we took advantage of our mornings and slept in.

Here are a few pictures from our trip.  We moved from Mandalay Bay (where my meeting was) to Paris.  We were able to get a great room with a view of the Bellagio fountains...I could have sat in the room and watched them all day.  On our last night, we had dinner at Olive's Restaurant in Bellagio.  We got a patio table so we could overlook the fountains once again...we couldn't get enough of them!

We had such a fun trip, but we were definitely ready to get home and see our sweet boy!  When we got in on Saturday night, we drove straight to Auburn.  Too bad Braxton had already gone to bed, but he enjoyed waking up and seeing us in his room.  He had so much fun with Mee-Mom and Pop-Pop.  I think he got a little spoiled as well...they took him on strolls multiple times a day.  I am sure he missed that once we got home!

Here are a few pictures of Braxton with Mee-mom and Pop-Pop - we are so thankful for them!
