This year we celebrated Halloween with our close friends, The Woods' and Rivera's. Casey and Ryan were kind enough to host and feed us pizza before going out to trick-or-treat. Braxton dressed up as a golfer - his original costume was set to be Elmo, but he was a little afraid of the fur and it was a tad bit small - thank goodness we got the golfer costume on Saturday...just in time! (You might notice a little boo-boo on his lip [nope, not a mustache] - he had a little fall while we were in Nashville over the weekend - poor guy!)
We started out walking down to the neighborhood pool where all the kids and parents were gathered. Braxton and "Super Cooper" got to go for a spin in the wagon - it was Cooper's first time and he looked like such a big boy. Finally, it was time to trick-or-treat! Braxton got excited when all the kids would run by on their way to the next house. By the end of the night, he was keeping up with them...he couldn't wait to get to the next house. At each stop, he would look in the bowl and dig around for a minute before choosing his exact piece of candy...it was too funny. We only had one house where he actually walked in like he owned the place. Next year, he should have it down pat. We ended the night with toasting marshmallows over the fire pit. It was a GREAT Halloween!
