Labor Day Weekend - Agans Come To Visit

We had a great Labor Day weekend at home this year. Since we had been to Auburn the last two weekends, we decided to take it easy. Our friends, Nick, Cassie and their two boys (Griffin and Conner), came to visit. Saturday morning, the men woke up early (5:30 to be exact) for a round of golf so that they could get home in time for the AU and AL football games. Seems crazy that the course let them make a tee time for 6:15 AM and they didn't even open until 6:45...let's just say I am sure the guys would have rather been able to sleep that extra 30 minutes. That afternoon, we enjoyed grilling and watching the games. I sure was happy that AU could squeak out a win - that was a scary one. Marty and Nick were definitely proud of their AL team!

Down, Set, Hike!

So serious

Such a cute Tiger

Had to make a wardrobe change once Daddy got home

Having fun with the boys - Braxton feels like such a big boy now

Since the boys had their time away, it was the girl's turn to get out. Cassie and I headed out for a manicure, yogurt and some shopping...it was nice to have a break from the kiddos for a couple of hours.

On Sunday, we were headed to the Braves game. Thank goodness that the Tropical Depression held off in time for the game to finish without a delay. The boys especially had a great time since this was their first Braves game. We look forward to taking Braxton to his first game sometime soon - maybe when his attention span matures - otherwise, he would be up and down the stadium stairs and give us a heart attack.

Agan Family at Turner Field before the game - thanks for the great tix Cassie!

Looking forward to the game

Cheese!

Let's Go Braves!

What a fun game! So glad the Braves won -
even if we did head out early to beat the rain!

The Agans headed out after the game and we are now enjoying a relaxing and rainy day inside. Oh how I miss spending a day at home with my boys...can't get any better than that!
