We had a wonderful Easter in Auburn this year. Friday night we headed out to Marshall's first baseball game where he scored one of the first two points and got a chance to pitch. Braxton had so much fun watching the older boys play. By the end of the game, he was yelling for Marshall - too sweet. The next morning we went to Kiesel Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Braxton picked up a bunch of eggs and got two Chick-Fil-A coupons. Amy, Mark, Sam and Tony also joined us. Amy is always so sweet to capture all the moments with her camera. That afternoon Mommy and Daddy got to have a lunch date at Amsterdam. It will probably be one of the last before the baby comes. That night we all headed over to Amy and Mark's for dinner. We got there a little early and decided to dye a few eggs with Braxton. He had so much fun and of course wanted to put multiple eggs in each dye cup which made things a bit messy. I am still impressed we kept the dye off our clothes. He was very proud of his colored eggs. On Easter morning, Braxton came downstairs to find that the Easter Bunny had come to visit. In his basket he found some fun bath squirt toys, big bubbles, Buzz light-up toys and the most special of all, a Big Brother book. Although he didn't want to read it that moment, he has picked it out to read the last couple of nights and points to the characters while saying, "Baby, Momma and Da-Da." It definitely melts my heart. He is going to make a great Big Brother! We visited AUMC for an Easter Service while Braxton had fun in the nursery. When we went to get him, he showed us all the cars and trucks that he got to play with. We enjoyed a delicious Easter dinner at my parent's house and spent time with the family. It was the last trip we would be taking before Baby #2 arrives so it was nice to spend it with family. Hope you and yours had a very blessed Easter! He is RISEN, He is RISEN INDEED!
