Hope everyone had a happy and blessed Thanksgiving holiday! We took our annual "tour of Alabama" and visited Marty's family at his grandparent's house in Ralph on Thursday, then headed to Auburn that afternoon to visit with my family for the remainder of the weekend. As always, there was an abundance of yummy food and great time with family. Braxton is still a bit picky, but did eat sweet potatoes and of course chocolate pie. He did at least try dressing and turkey. Carter had fun meeting his great grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins in Ralph. I still can't believe it was the first time they had seen him since he was born. In Auburn, we celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunday with my family. It is one of my most favorite meals - let's just say I exceeded my Weight Watchers points for the day...AND weekend!
Stop 1: Grandmother and Granddaddy's house, Ralph, AL
Carter's First Thanksgiving
I wish he would have tried everything on that plate - had a melt down instead
Carter and Grandmama
Booth Family
Momma and Carter
Braxton likes Daddy's beard
Definitely my little turkey!
Stop 2: Me-Mom and Pop-Pop's House, Auburn, AL
Carter and Aunt Angelyn
Me and my boys
Having fun with Uncle Mark
Playing with cousin Sam
These boys love their Me-Mom and Pop-Pop
While we were in Auburn, we took Braxton for a trial run to meet Santa since we are going for Brunch with Santa pics this weekend and wanted him to be comfortable. Every other year he has lost it, but he kept it together this time and told Santa that he wanted a Roary the Race Car. We even got some "cheese" out of him along with smiles! Hopefully we will have the same experience this weekend along with Carter.
