Early Christmas

Here in the Booth household, it has become tradition (or habit) to have an early Christmas before travelling to our family's homes.  It is funny how it seems to happen earlier and earlier each year.  Marty will be the first to tell you that his family hardly ever waited to open presents on Christmas day so he is definitely eager.  This year we celebrated on 12/15 since we were leaving the following weekend for Nashville and wanted the boys to be able to play with their toys some before we left.  So, we lit a fire, turned on a Christmas movie and had our early little Christmas.

Stocking time!

Me and the boys before presents - Braxton wasn't too excited for pics after waking up from his nap (love the expression)

Now that he is getting presents, he perks right up

Wow - a boat!

Carter's turn to open - big brother was more than willing to help!

Yay - an airplane rocker!

Braxton had to take a turn as well

The following day, we headed over to the Woods' home for a Christmas brunch with friends.  Dawn prepared a delicious breakfast casserole and we also celebrated Scott's birthday.  The boys had a blast opening gifts from each other and it was nice to get together and catch up with both the Woods' and Rivera's.
