30 And Holding

My birthday gave us the perfect excuse to have a night out...and for me to get pampered beforehand.  I booked a babysitter a month in advance so that we could have some adult-only time with friends.  That day I headed to Ambrosia for a haircut and make-up.  Brenda always does such a great job and did my make-up for half off since it was my b'day.  That night we headed out with The Woods, Riveras, McCabes and Dixons to Seasons 52 at Perimeter.  It was such a neat place and the food was wonderful.  They change the menu each week (hence 52 in their name) and all entrees are 500 calories or less (perfect for my Weight Watchers).  We decided to have all the ladies on one half of the table and the men-folk on the other.  It was so great catching up with everyone - we don't get out enough with them.  After dinner, they brought out a tiered dessert sampler with a candle on top.  Every dessert was prepared in a little shot glass.  All of them looked delicious - it was hard to pick the one that I wanted - of course I chose the chocolate and peanut butter one.  I feel so spoiled to have such great friends in my life to celebrate special occasions with!
