Fall is our favorite time of the year not only for football but for fun festivities and cooler weather. Over the past couple of weekends, we have planted some mums and got the house all decorated for Halloween. Braxton was excited to see all the pumpkins at The Home Depot and especially liked the silly ones with faces...Momma caved and bought one for both him and Carter and they now reside on the mantle. We have also been able to enjoy the weather on our new back porch. It took a few weeks to complete but Stratton did a great job...they were even sweet enough to include it on their blog: http://strattonexteriors.com/2013/09/18/a-new-patio-cover-in-crieve-hall/. Other excitement this month was our neighborhood bringing in a food truck once a month...this time we had "Just Like Nannie Fixed It"...a meat and three...of course I got the chicken and dumplins - Yummo! We always seemed to miss Food Truck Tuesdays back in Smyrna, so we were super excited when food trucks were announced here. Another fun activity that we enjoyed was Fall In The Hall. Crieve Hall puts on this festival every year for all that live in this area...the boys had a blast seeing the firetrucks, horses and enjoying the big slide. We feel so blessed that we ended up in such a family-friendly area of Nashville.
