More Fall Fun - Gentry's Farm
This past week has been a little rough for our boys - both came down with colds and have ear infections. As much as we love the weather change, we do not love what comes along with it - sickness! However, since we were going a bit stir crazy, we took an outing to Gentry's Farm on Saturday to pick out a pumpkin. My company was nice enough to pay for entry and $10 towards a pumpkin so we hated to miss it. We had a great time playing in the troughs of wheat and corn, running through the kiddie maze, going for a wagon ride (no hay actually), and seeing the fun animals along the way. Ironically, Marty's sister and their kids ended up coming out around the same time so it was fun sharing the day with them as well. After a couple of hours, both boys started to wind down and it was time to pick out our pumpkin and head home. We can't wait to carve our pumpkin and decorate a smaller one for our neighborhood's pumpkin contest!
