Happy Halloween!

...or Halloween week in our case.  It started on Wednesday with school dress-up.  It's so nice to have nephews that pass along fun costumes - Carter went as Buzz and Braxton went as the green Power Ranger.

We finally got around to carving the pumpkins - Da Da did a great job!

Braxton got to enter his pumpkin in the neighborhood pumpkin decorating contest and won 2nd place - so proud of him!

When Halloween finally arrived, a monsoon arrived with it bringing heavy winds and rain.  Thankfully, our neighborhood postponed activities until the next night.  We still had to dress-up and take pictures with the cousins.  It was a fun night of eating pizza, watching The Great Pumpkin - Charlie Brown, and giving out candy to a few trick or treaters that braved the weather.

On Friday, our sweet neighbors invited us over after trick or treating to eat.  Of course I had to make a spooky appetizer - this Momma loves some Pinterest

Getting ready for the neighborhood Halloween Parade

Momma's sweet Minions

Let the parade begin!

First stop for candy - Carter wasn't shy at taking candy

"Trick or Treat!"

Braxton found Hudson (Izzy from Neverland Pirates) and they were inseparable for the rest of the night.  Hudson referred to Braxton as "my minion" as they walked door to door - such cuties!

When we got back to enjoy some food with our neighbors, The Frericks, Hudson and Braxton decided to sit out front and hand out candy for what seemed like hours.

Carter had the right idea and came inside for some yummy dishes!

Dinner time - Hudson remained out front as she could not leave her candy perch

Carter and Sullivan decided to head up to the play room - they are in the same class at Parent's Morning Out and play so well together - we like to say they are bf and gf

Time to clean up - what a fun Halloween!
