Before we get to the outdoor activities, our big indoor activity (actually in February) was Carter transitioning to a big-boy toddler bed. Marty had been racing up the stairs when he saw Carter's leg hiked over the bed rails, so we felt it was time. At first he would wake up and whine for us to come get him and now he is just waking up and coming into our room to greet us in the morning. Can't believe this guy will be 2 this month!
Braxton was excited for him as well
The first weekend in March traveled to Auburn for my annual family reunion. It was such a nice weekend and the boys loved playing with Me-Mom and Pop-Pop's toys outside. They also had their first Sprite while sitting in the driveway.
In honor of St. Patty's day the boys wanted to do a green bath - they can't go a day without having some type of color in the bathtub!
Found one of my old beanie babies from the Heartstrings days - Braxton had to pose with him
For Spring Break, Braxton had his first sleepover with cousin Ben. It was loads of fun watching Frozen and trying out his trundle bed. Marty and I had so much fun listening to their conversations on the video monitor.
Braxton started his first organized sport this month - SOCCER! He had a great first practice with Mrs. Ashley (conveniently our sweet neighbor). I think Carter enjoyed it just as much as he did. We have started calling him the equipment manager. The first game should definitely be entertaining!
Speaking of our sweet neighbors, Braxton and Carter have become good friends with Hudson and Sully (sisters) a couple of doors down. Carter ("Car-Car") and Sullivan ("Sobes") can't leave each other without giving sweet embraces. There are not many weekends that go by where we aren't all hanging out in each others' yards. We can't wait to for the pool to open in 2 short months!
