Easter in Nashville

This year we decided to stay home for Easter and celebrate with our Nashville family.  It was such a fun weekend of Easter Egg hunts and family fun.  We started the weekend by trying to make a visit to the Easter bunny, but the boys were not having any part of sitting in his lap...maybe next year.  On Saturday, we headed to the park for a giant Easter Egg hunt.  We had never seen so many eggs full of candy!  After the hunt, we stopped by Opry Mills to have lunch and ride the ferris wheel.  In the afternoon, we followed tradition and dyed some eggs - let's just say it was a little messy.  On Sunday morning, the Easter bunny had come to visit and the boys were super excited to find their baskets filled to the brim.  After church, we headed to Grandmama's for Easter lunch and some egg hunts.  The boys were super excited to find money and coins in all their eggs - Grandmama is too sweet.  After all the excitement, the boys literally passed out on the way home - such a fun Easter!
