Oh Twoodles! Carter Is 2!

How can it be true that Carter is already 2?  Our baby boy has grown so much over the last year.  It seems like yesterday that he was just starting to walk, and now he runs everywhere.  He definitely has his own personality and is very into tractors these days thanks to our good ole brother-n-law Randy and his song "Tractor, Tractor."  Carter will go around singing it all day.  One of his favorite parts of the song is when it gets to "Rocket, Rocket, shooting to the moon" as he has a true obsession with the moon for some reason.  He also loves Elmo and mickey mouse, hence the reason we decided to do a Mickey themed birthday party for him.  Momma probably went a little overboard on Mickey decorations but it was all in good fun.  We headed to Sevier Park on 4/26 to celebrate Carter's big day.  All of his close neighborhood friends were there along with Grandmama, The Goodgames, and Me-Mom and Pop-Pop.  He had so much fun playing in the park and the dried up drainage ditch - leave it to all the kids to want to play in the rocks instead of the play ground.  After blowing out his candles and enjoying his mickey cupcake, Carter got the first shot and the string pinata.  All the kids took turns and finally all the candy came out.  I was shocked that there was still some on the ground when they got done picking up the goodies.  After the party, we headed home and opened presents.  Me-mom and Pop-pop were too sweet to get both Carter and Braxton a bunch of tractors to play with.  That night, we took Me-Mom out to dinner since her birthday which is the same as Carter's (4/30).  We had a great Italian dinner while Grandmama was sweet enough to keep the boys.  It was a fun weekend of celebrations.
