Activities Galore

Well, the realization of going back to work has hit and we decided to take advantage of my last two weeks by going on a few outings with both of the boys.  We started with Zoo Atlanta.  After renewing our season passes, we felt like we needed to go more than once this year.  Braxton had a great time and we were able to do the merry-go-round and train this visit.  Of course his favorite was the train ride with Da-da but he did talk a lot about going round and round with Momma after our trip.  He is still a little apprehensive about riding on a animal so we took a bench seat for our ride.  Too bad Carter didn't see much since he was asleep the whole time in the stroller - maybe next time.  Our next outing was Georgia Aquarium with my sister Amy, niece Sam and her boyfriend Toney.  They made a last minute trip to Atlanta on Saturday to do some shopping and decided to swing by the aquarium as well.  All I know is I was so glad to have annual passes and breeze through the line because it was BUSY!  They actually were making people wait to come in since it was so full.  Thankfully, we were still able to make it to all the exhibits and had a great time.  We were going to try and make it to the Coke Museum, but with the crowd we decided to grab a bite downtown before they had to hit the road.  On Sunday, we went to the Braves vs. Mets game with the Dixon's, Woods', and Rivera's.  Since the game started at 1:35, Braxton didn't get his usual nap, but he did great and even told us when he needed to go potty.  Carter did great as well considering the heat.  He took a  bottle halfway through the game and was pretty content until we left in the 6th inning.  He slept on me in the Baby Bjorn during our walk back to the car.  Both boys slept the whole way home.  I am definitely cherishing all of these moments and hope we can fit some of these activities in even I after I start back to work.
