Here is a picture of us celebrating Braxton's 1st month (our friends Dawn, Scott, Dustin and Leslie were sweet enough to bring over a cake for the occasion). As you can see in this picture, Braxton did a lot of sleeping during his first month (of course it was more during the day than at night). He also had several "firsts" during this month:- First shots at the Pediatrician
- First New Year's
- Watched Auburn beat Northwestern in the Outback Bowl (he brought us good luck in OT)
- Watched Alabama beat Texas in the National Championship game (now he gets to watch Auburn in the National Championship on January 10th - War Eagle!)
- First trip to Children's Hospital for jaundice (poor thing had to stay under the lights for 3 days)
- First bath in his whale tub
- First snow (twice!)
- First road trip to Nashville to meet his Aunt Amy, Uncle Randy and cousins
- First photo shoot with his Aunt Amy - here is our favorite picture from that shoot
It is crazy looking back at these photos and seeing how small he was. He has changed so much over the last 11 months. Time really flies when you're having fun! We are looking forward to watching him grow and change in the months to come!
