Here is Braxton at 5 months old in his Home Depot shirt (they sent it to me in a new mom package when I got pregnant). He truly is a Home Improvement. We cannot imagine our lives without him. At this point, he was sitting up good in his bumbo and started to sit up on his own. It is truly amazing when they can start doing things on their own. We can't even imagine what it is going to be like once he starts walking.
At 5 months old, Braxton:
- Got in his lillypad float for the first time at Grandmama's pool
- Tried foods other than cereal - squash, sweet potatos, carrots
- Celebrated his first Memorial Day
- Played in his exer-saucer for the first time
- Began to army crawl (more like a army roll)
- Picked out a golf bag for Daddy's first Father's Day
- Tried out his jumper for the first time (just kind of hung out - as seen below)
A 1 year old child is so many things
A tiny discoverer of butterfly wings
A hugger of Teddies
A sweet sleepyhead
And someone to dream for in bright years ahead
